Our Mission
The principal objective of The Oakville Royals Baseball program is to provide an opportunity to dedicated student -athletes to develop skills enabling them to achieve their baseball goals whether they are in a post secondary education or professional setting.
Founded in 2003, by President Mel Swinton. The Royals Baseball Club is a member-participant in the Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO) an elite baseball program operating across southern Ontario. In addition to league play, the Club participates in a number of prestigious and showcase tournaments in the United States throughout the year.
The Premier Baseball League has been formed for the purpose of fostering, improving, promoting and perpetuating the health and welfare of high-performance amateur baseball in Ontario through a permanent organization dedicated to the best interests of amateur baseball players.
The PBLO is committed to honesty, integrity and the highest ethical standards of operation.
The PBLO will provide and promote post-season berthing opportunities and fair competition without regard to a participant’s race, ethnic background or religious beliefs.
The PBLO is committed to supporting the growth and development of amateur baseball in the Province of Ontario and throughout Canada. The focus of our endeavours is on personal development of adolescents, in the sport of baseball, from the age of thirteen to nineteen, as individuals and as athletes. In partnership with parents and educators, both scholastic and athletic, we will provide training, coaching, mentoring, and opportunity to adolescents that show potential for developing further in the game of baseball.
